Related problem of water security

Modern human changed disposition of producing, living and using resources – influence is rapid changes in environment.  Over-utilization of natural resources is the main reason of climate changes, but the last one is known as future problem of development. Industrial principles of optimization are not effective for environmental management, because saving financial resources is main goal of any business.  That’s main cause of, over-utilization natural resources. The illusion that natural resources are unlimited are in past. Now we see the consequences, that even river can disappear from intensive usage.

 Water and food security are related to each-other:  as food security depends on water security. As  any life form needs water as main vital resource for everyday survive and population growth need more food, which needs more water and at last the population wants more potable water. Result is required more water for food producing and more water for personal usage.

Rapid changes in urbanization character has one of the main influence on consuming  resources around the world, people need more and more energetic supply for pumping water in highest buildings ever built by human kind. Water resource flexibility gives chance to use pipelines for physical distribution, which is uninterrupted process of consuming and sometimes uninterrupted process of over utilization.
Agrarian development is known as most conservative producing sphere. As it depends on natural resources and indivisible processes in eco systems, with it cycles of producing and reproducing. During the centuries human civilization lived beside wild nature and used all the wealth, accumulated by eco system of the earth. Because of waters flexibility and ability of changing substantial forms, it becomes out of procure. Only wild nature has key to accumulate, regenerate and distribute water resources in uninterrupted ways. Eco system as whole unity can solve the problems of water security. Plantations with many years life can make together whole system, which can solve problem of accumulating  water resources on the cover of the land  serve as supporting force  for agrarian development. During the centuries, farm-lads where beside wild nature no one could count - what kind of resource expending did nature contribute for agrarian development. In another words nobody could count what quantity of water was expended for producing each kind of food supply. Because nobody could observe process of distributing main vital resources, like as water, minerals and so on and so force was invisible process inside the nature, as law of life on the earth. But now times intensive producers counted that for one kilogram beef is used 13 000 liters of water, of course including the resources used for plant growing. All that wealth was distributed by nature for no price paid or expanded extra energetic resources.

Eco system as one whole alive organism can organize, regenerate and provide itself with all vital resources. It provides itself and human civilization - with all wealth important for life. But many of countries decided to use principles of competitive advantage and serve other countries with food supply, but changed others attitude to natural resources, which had no competitive price in food producing and started destroying eco system around them (wood producing, mineral extraction etc.) which caused pollution, overutilization of natural resources and uninterrupted processes of destroying eco system. That is not only reason, scientific-technical progress made rapid breakthrough in producing. Time after time we need less and less human resources for producing, first it caused unemployment, but we found solution by employing in social spheres and all the hard work is trusted to machines, life is becoming easier in one look, but it causes more energy expanding more utilization of natural resources, more pollution and more new knowledge of using renewed technical terminology. Innovations are everywhere, which are just new languages of computer programmers or diverse abilities of technical resources. At the same time eco system, is not going to betray own nature, it stays as conservative as it was before, doesn’t matter, what new knowledge we have to make easier our lives.

   
Food and water security have common principles of access and safety, of course the physical distribution way is different, but the main problem of access is the same. If we have water pollution, we can’t talk about safe food, because second depends on first, as food producing uses water resources from environment and transforms water resources into food resources. More than 2/3 of earth is covered by water, but hundreds of millions people have not access to potable water and more have not access to safe food. Improving the access is the main problem of water security. In agrarian development water resources can give gain and sometimes losses, because moderate use is optimal on any directions. Hydro amelioration has its optimal quotas. Overutilization can harm plants and even destroy structure of land which is called erosion.

   
Erosion of ground is the main cause of lands barren, on first stages it causes less ability of regeneration and productivity and after artificial intensive usage it can cause destruction of lands. landslides is most dangerous in mountainous places, because land structure can’t hold itself after water lie down and causes rapid exhaustion of land cover and lots of damage for nearby population. When land looses ability to hold water resources on cover, most part of water goes in underground streams. That means to lose most part of potable water out of rational usage. But this kind of reserve made by nature can serve for future development, if someone will try to rebuild eco system, such attempt won’t be successful without perennials, which are the best guard of land cover. They can accumulate all vital resources on the cover with their roots and hold the structure of the land. Annual plants also can give such a service but vegetable cultures are used to consume all the resources inside the ground and their roots are Temporary for food producing, which are not useful for regeneration process of humus layer. There is no standard quantity of plants, which will have ability to become independent alive system, to achieve such conditions nature needs many years with all kind of adaptation processes and there are too many unpredictable risks as in traditional agrarian development. Even the weather change can cause unpaid damage, that’s why businessmen avoid investments in agrarian development and incredible to imagine if someone will risk, to spend the money on projects which will serve after their lives and won’t bring real money directly. But it can solve problem of future existence, if someone cares about what will think about them in future.

    
Unpredictable consequences are main problem of planning agrarian development and resource utilization. Most of harmful processes are hidden from naked eyes and when consequences become on view is too late for Preventive measures. Experience shows, that nature is not giving rapid answers on our questions if it is enough harm we made against eco system. When we get answers with consequences that means it’s too late. To stop irreversible processes needs hard measures and sometimes does not obey to control. Damage returns by money can serve to people for liquidation of human problems to buy alternative utilities or change occupation place, but every time running is not the best way to survive, some day the nature won’t give the alternative way to go on living.  

  
Someone can ask: what feedback is between agrarian development, eco system and water security? They are different fields of science and thought, if we talk about water let’s talk about water, why we have to think about erosion of ground when we are thirsty? Water desalination is the best way, we have oceans with limitless resources of water we can use it in any direction, just filter and let it go in pipelines. 

     
But it takes extra energy losses extra planning extra pollution and uninterrupted process of spending money. Future projects of solving such problems won’t give rapid results and feedback in a short period of time. The real wealth will stay invisible for naked eye as it was before and it will be in future, but the harm won’t hide itself, consequences will be unimaginable painful as it is painful for little less then billion people. All the progress done by scientific technical progress and its charms can’t replace the diversity of nature itself. Genetic engineering can create new kinds of plants with better adaptation skills which can take place of traditional producing, but it can’t create the whole system with dialectical processes important for independent alive system, which served our planet for saving life on it. Only optimal consuming of natural resources can serve for solution of water security problem.
